Houston, TX Children Portraits Photographer……Meet the Girl Next Door!

After having to reschedule due to a cold front in Houston wishing there won’t be another one. The cold didn’t keep us in this time. While the sun being out and blinging in the right direction we came out to play. Such a pretty day! After that have been said………..meet shy, bright eyes Cyani who was the life of the party warming up with a piece of gum.  I had fabulous time and a pleasure meeting mom and grandmother. Proper knowledge of photography is important…but photo editing is the bomb!

It is so amazing how editing is the process to make your pictures amazing. Don’t think the camera itself will do the work for you. A strait out of camera image next to the edited image.  You can get a sense of the power of photoshop and how amazing it it to transform your own photographs.  I felt this photo needed a little spice to it so check it out!

Why is Custom photography so expensive?

-You are not just paying your photograher for an hour of shoot time. I put in many hour on every session. This includes preparation, drive time, shooting time, file handling, sifting and sorting images, custom editing and post processing of images, burning CD’s , post office, etc.

-Professional equipment is expensive. Camera’s lens, computer/laptop software, hardware, workshop props, etc. Unfortunaltely these are not one time purchases, as upgrades must be made or items replaced after heavy use.

-Running a legitimate business is costly. there are taxes, accountant fees, assistant fees, office fees, studio fees, internet fees, blog and website fees, etc…..

-Not all photographers are the same. Many may have a fancy camera but not really understand photography or know how to custom edit. Let’ s just say that you get what you pay for!

-Paying for custom photography of  your family, your wedding, your children is never a bad investment. These are family heirlooms that hold their value, and become irreplacable memories, treasures that appreciate with time.
